Blocking massives may seem impossible for new players, but there are four good ways to go about it.

1. Sky Block:
This is the most commonly used block, and it works for most massives. To do this block, simply face toward the player trying to massive you and look toward the sky while blocking with your sword. You do not have to look straight up, but it has to be somewhere akin to a 60 degree angle. The only problem with this block is that many players no longer massive when they can. They just take a step back and shoot.

2. Ground Block
This block is only used against sky massives. You must be facing the massiving player, and you must be looking straight down while blocking. If the massive is not a sky massive, then it is completely ineffective, as any type of massive can break this type of block.

3. Ghost Evade:
This is the "dagger users block". It is simple in concept, but rather hard to carry out. You must face the person massiving you. Then as they massive, you turn 45 degrees to the left or right. It works on nearly every massive.

4. Well Timed Slashes:
This is a hard trick to learn, but it is effective against all but the luckiest of massives. As they are beginning the massive, you slash them. This pushes the massive just far enough away not to hit you. The timing is almost at the same time that you push the button to begin a massive if you have one.

are you mad i stopped massive spamming ages ago (until recent)

LIKE THIS PISSES ME OFF THE MOST ABOUT THIS GAME

I will block people let them get a combo going and everything
I go chase there arse just to get massived after my 2nd slash

srsly if there were no massives i would defaintly play offensive in public
